Okay, so I read the Fort of Angst first and burst into tears-- it was just so damn beautiful and heartbreaking! so I immediately had to come read this one. This one is just as lovely. I liked Pavel's breakdown. Everyone (even the most put together mature BAMF) needs to break down every once in a while. Sulu is spectacularly comforting and I love him for it. I love how simple it was for them to segue into something more. Because, like you said in this, they are so attuned to each other that it just makes sense. Bless your internet fail, because I would be a blob of wibbly bawling nonsense without this fluff to temper the Fort of Angst.

Aww, have a tissue. Everyone does, it's what makes us human. Sulu seems like the sort of person who would know what to do when someone's crying.

Actually, the fort of Angst wasn't originally going to be that angsty. I took on a prompt cause I wanted to write blatant porn, actually... I think the two of them might be better than what I had planned originally, though, not that I can remember what that was.
