Currently working at Kohls only again. Circuit City kept pissing me off - not really following my availability, stupid break schedules (why do I need an hour break when I'm schedule 9:45 - 3?!), that sort of thing. So now, back to Kohls while job hunting for a REAL job

i'm telling you, waiting tables is where the money's at man - i made over three hundred bucks in the last three days of working - three dinner shifts and one lunch shift. as a general rule i despise people but it's so easy to fake it, and as long as you put on a smile and apologize when you mess something up almost all your customers will love you, or at least like you enough to give you a good tip. the trick is just not to take anything personally - sometimes you'll get a crabby table and there's nothing you can do right for them and they blame you for things that aren't your fault - so all you can do is just apologize to their face and then tell all the other waitresses about it later so the next time those folks come in you can all laugh at them behind their backs :P
