The love of which I speak is romantic, soul binding love. i.e. I love Tadashi whole heartedly, but I don't want to marry her...

I understand, or at least I think I understand that there is truth coupled in with your own form of irony and sarcasm. If your theory was actually realized, then what a great Twilight Zone episode it would make. Whenever a couple got divorced, their children would disappear. A few questions for you though..

1. What would happen to the people who knew the person that disappeared? Would they be wiped of their memory of the person in every way possible, or would just the physical person be gone, and the memories stay?

2. What about children born to couples who had never married? Would they escape this law, or could no child be born to parents who were not married?

3. Could the married couple have children with other people who are married? If you look at this law in that way, the only requirement to have a child is to be married..but do you have to be married to each other?

Interesting theory. I actually had to think about this for a week or so. This is what I came up with should this be realized and preempted by Rod Serling's classic intro ( ... )

Actually, let me once again, add to the confusion. My mom would exist, since my grandmother (her mother), left my grandfather (her father), but never were divorced. Does living apart really count? My grandmother is technically a widow, since my grandfather died while they were still married, all be it many many years later ( ... )
