Leave one memory of you and me together. It doesn't matter if I know you a little or a lot, anything you remember! Next, post this in your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
It's interesting how you can store so many memories of someone, yet not necessarily hold any that immediately distinguish themselves.
My memory may not be particularly strong at remembering the details of incidents or moments in time. Instead, it makes up for this weakness by closely remembering the person, their character, and ultimately their impact on my life.
In that respect, I remember a person with a warpedbutfuckingawesome sense of humour. I remember someone who simply wanted the love and strength of giving they continuously gave to be returned to them. I remember someone who was tremendously intelligent yet modest enough to hide it. I remember you having a wonderful sense of judgement and an even stronger sense of compassion.
If there was one memory that sticks out - it would be of our talks and of the usually sensible advice and opinion you'd give to me. Good advice is worth more than any amount of the money in the world.
So many. but I would have to say you and me walking to the store by your house now. I don't know why that one just stands out for me but it does. I am so glad to have you back in my life. And I am so sorry I was such a bummer on Saturday night and was sick. Thank you again for taking care of me.
