In a little cafe in town, Zidane sat at a little corner table with a hot cup of coffee and a sandwich. It was his favorite place to eat, a friendly atmosphere with excelent food. Rinoa walked along, Angelo at her heels. Today was the day she was walking around campus as she didn't have classes. hmm.. coffee shop...

Stepping inside, she was suprised no one complained about Angelo. Must be used to animals around the area. At the counter, she ordered a mocha latte, something she hadn't had in years. Sipping it gingerly, she looked around for a place to sit.

Zidane thought it was his lucky day when he watched the pretty brunette walk through the door. And even luckier that she had a dog with her. This was going to make things much easier.

Usually he didn't mind, but he didn't want to come off as rude and just ask a complete stranger to sit with him. So he used the dog to his advantage. Picking up his sandwich, he made sure to hold onto it fairly loosely, so when he took a bite the meat of it slipped out and onto the floor.

"Whoops," he said, as he slowly leaned down to get it. God, he hoped this dog was like any other when it came to table scraps.

Angelo saw the meat fall before it even hit and was on it quicker than Zidane could blink. "Oh dear..." Rinoa followed quickly, grabbing a hold of Angelo's collar before he licked the man to death. "Come on, Angelo, i'm sure this nice man doesn't want you licking the floor around his feet." She smiled appologetically. "sorry about that."

Score for Zidane!, he thought with an inward smirk. He smiled at the girl, "Nah, it's no problem. Might as well give him the rest of this." He handed the dog the bread to his now meatless sandwich. He gave the dog a pat on the head.

"Nice dog you got here," he said looking up at the girl. "You new around here?" He felt only the slightest pang of guilt, he'd been using that one too often lately. "I'm sure I would have recognized a dog this handsom" he said giving it another pat on the head.

Well... darn, what a waste Zidane thought. It figures he'd meet a beautifull chick he might have a small chance with picking up and she turned out to be... "So, you're a lesbian then, huh?" It would only be natural for him to think so, she never did say her preference of men. While the thought of two women together wasn't entirely unpleasing, he found lesbians to be a bit of a waste.

Rinoa laughed. She should have expected that one, but she'd thought she'd been flirting enough for him to see her reality. Apparently not. Might as well enlighten him.

"You don't have to sound so disappointed," she chided him. "I'm actually bi. So you still have a chance," she added with a playful wink.
