What's worse: not voting or being an uninformed voter?

Not voting. In a perfect world...Id rather everyone be a an informed voter...but until we have a larger proportion of people...ACTUALLY voting...I don't think its better if we have a smaller proportion of people simply making informed choices

I think if people said to themselves...the week before the election. I am going to vote. They will subconsciously seek out some information. They will know who is who at least.

Sure its not ideal. But neither is our two party system. And until we are all voting in HUGE numbers...the politicians will stop worrying JUST about what their base thinks.

...nf...

Being an uninformed voter, definitely. Stupid people shouldn't be allowed to vote. I know that flies in the face of democracy, but really, that's how I feel. If you don't know anything, or are easily led or manipulated by ads that have no substance to them, just stay home.

sure, we can make changes through voting, but there's always strings attached. life isn't decided between choice one and choice two. a D or an R doesn't make the difference. i feel wrong choosing someone else to represent my voice. i spread my "vote" through my daily interactions. and i don't necessarily agree with the term "uninformed voter" ... i think that we're all informed in the sense that we hold opinions. being "informed" just means knowing what opinions other people have.

I was going to say not voting, but today I noticed that where I was voting, there were people in walkers who looked like they were literaly on their last legs. A senior center were taking their patients to come and vote, which is nice, but I was thinking to myself, which one of these voters actually knows what they are voting about. The older generation is very loyal to their "party" and don't really give a shit about how poorly their "party" is representing our country.
