What are you reading?

So I'm almost finished with Eat, Pray, Love and don't have anything lined up (which is crazy considering the number of books on my wishlist). I usually read chick-lit but I want to read something more...substantial. I feel like I need to be more informed about everything (especially current events) and/or to start reading "the classics ( Read more... )

i just finished reading sophie kinsella's "remember me?"... fun, stupid chick lit.

i recommend david sedaris. my favorite writer--mostly essays--and they're hysterical (his sister is amy sedaris, from satc and strangers w/candy)

I just started reading Bowling Alone by Robert Putnam. It's about community's and how people's involvement in organizations can strengthen communities. It kept getting namechecked in newspaper articles so I thought I'd check it out.
