perhaps unsurprisingly, i only ever seem to post when i'm working (or, more correctly, avoiding working). :)

Ah, I always wondered how you didn't stress about periods of unemployment too much. When I'm working the bank balance stays about the same, perhaps ever so slowly rising, and if I'm unemployed it quickly drops (usually into the overdraft!). Work - I'm doing it wrong....obviously!! As well as living in a stupidly expensive part of the world perhaps?

yep... you just have to discover a few cheap places with beaches, budget accommodation and US$1 cocktails. :)
