Oh no, most of Texas doesn't see snow. Up in the panhandle (the funny bit at the top of the state) they get snow annually. For the middle and southern parts of the state, it's rare. For Houston, it's quite rare. When we lived in Austin (central Texas), we'd see a little snow once or twice a year, usually in January or February. It would only stick around for a few days. Houston's only an hour from the Gulf Coast and it's too warm and humid for snow here. Our winter is really just January and February. The day before it snowed, it was in the 70s (about 23 deg Celsius?), and Dale was wearing shorts! It was cold the next couple of days, but Dale just went out to lunch wearing short sleeves and no jacket.

We both wish we lived in a place with a nice snowy winter.
