Research suggests that nucelotides linked to sleepiness are at their highest concentration in breastmilk in the evenings.

Short version: breastfeed at bedtime if possible instead of feeding daytime-pumped milk

Yeah, we can produce knock-out drugs in our boobs but still get monthly cramps and morning sickness.

Breastmilk is really cool. It even changes in composition as the baby gets older to match what baby needs at that stage in development, and there's an exchange at the breast that "tells" the mother's body what antibodies to make too.

I always breastfeed at bedtime, even on the night I work.

And also, all my pumped milk is pumped during the night...since I work overnights.
