Being contrary? Actually I love the snow, and I love the really crisp, clear days that you get when the temp hovers around freezing. What I dislike are tempetures that hover between 69 and 40 degrees as they are incredible pointless. What good is cold if you don't get to have pretty icicles and snow?

Also, last winter left me super whiney due to living in an uninsulated shake where the only heat came from a couple of spaceheaters, and had a bathroom with jalosey windows that never fully closed. I was a bit annoyed.

Now, I have an insulated flat with central heat,and bathroom with no windows. Not to mention the very, very good chance I get to go up to Buffalo and play in the snow. Actually looking forward to this winter
