No, Mike really doesn't. See, Jack KNOWS him, and he knows that Mike can be a contrary little bitch when he wants. Tossing him down and trussin' him up would just piss him off (no matter how badly he wants it). Plus, it would give him an out: he could convince himself he was forced.

Thus, this. It give the illusion of control, yet forces Mike to actually make a choice. He's no hepless victim in this: on some level he he must own up to his own desires. Or something. ;-)
