That's an exaggeration, but weddings sure do cost a lot even when you don't pay for the most expensive piece. That's not the point of this though. I have some free time so I figured I would finally write out my abridged version of how I went from a beach in Nahant on July 4, 2007 to a beach in Mexico on August 19, 2008. PS. I think not officially hearing a yes is probably common.

For the record I have not offically accepted Chris' proposal...still. (and he's propsed twice - when I got the new ring after the other one broke) I figure I have until November to decide no need to rush into rash decisions.
