I am a bit frustrated today, but not for the reasons you might think a registered republican would be. I'm not particularly upset that Obama got elected. Well said. That's the whole problem with the republican party. That, and stereotypes. People at work still believe republicans are the party for people who make over $100,000/year, who hate gays, who hate minorities and want to push Christanity on everybody.

I can't blame them for those stereotypes. The most outspoken members of the republican party do hate gays, minorities and push christianity on everyone.

Unfortunately, since that's all you hear, that's what most people believe is representative of the whole party.
