Venting and asking for advise

Jul 11, 2007 09:12

Have a temp job, don't really like it. Been her for 2 months and they wanna keep me (naturally) I've contacted my agency to "get me outta here". What's the best way to get out? I'm thinking to use the "realtor got a client" angle. Idea's, suggestions, support?
THanx in advance

I believe so, I've already contacted them about this. I'm seriouly thinking of telling the people here that I have a Real Estate client who needs me.

Working as a call center receptionist. The stress comes from the "boss" who can fly off the handle at a moments notice and then hands you your notice, cuz you disrepected him in some way only he can decipher. Also the calls I have to deal with are usually a lot of ticked off peopole who I am unable to help, but I sure can listen to them bitch. I never intended this job to be permanent. I went to a temp agency for flexibililty so I could earn a buck andstill do and pay for the real estate.

Well, the practical side of me says to wait until you get a bite somewhere else, then give the current job hardly any notice at all and go... Unless, of course, the stress is just so bad that it's not worth your sanity and emotional health. In that case, ss long as you can make the bills, give your notice and go. The realtor excuse sounds just dandy to me. I'd use it. That way, you're not burning any bridges, in case you need a reference.

Know that I fully support you, no matter what you choose to do! :)
