This bugs me and I can't do anything about it...but I'm thinking

I'm with a group of people that I know. They are all talking or involved in a conversation. I have something to add, but no one will shut up long enough for me to 'get in'. I'm an extrovert and cannot find an opening. I have tact so I will not be rude,loud, annoying just to get my 2 cents in. It's especially difficult if I have something to say

I can well understand that feeling. I'm not nearly so extroverted, I tend to be introverted in temperament, except for certain situations. Sometimes it can feel just about impossible to get a word in in a group of animated extroverts. Maybe you should start bringing along a bicycle horn to gatherings with these folks. ;) That would grab their attention.
