I have “issues” with authority.

I put that in quotation marks because I think it - and say it - on a regular basis.

And, I may. As an adult, growing up and even now my dad and I have kind of a strange relationship. I'd have to cut and paste it too so he can't read the comments, ha!

It's good to know someone has your back, you know? I was going to talk about how, in 5th grade a boy hit me, totally geeky little me with a long denim skirt and Coke bottle glasses, and I turned around and hit him back and we wound up rolling around in the floor and had to be separated by teachers.

When he got called into the principal's office (and thank God it was him and not my mom they got in touch with first!) He said "I hope my daughter decks any guy who ever lays a hand on her!"
