the middle prong thing broke out of the power charger thing for my computer. this makes charging sort of an acrobatic feat that requires precision placement and absolute stillness once the position is found that allows charging ( Read more... )

I fucking hate iBook G4 chargers. $80 for a piece of shit. I'm already on my second one and it's starting to die.

this is the first one i've had to replace, so it's not too shabby for how "well" i've treated it (that is, not very well at all).

but still. $80? no thanks. ebay is full of fakes for $25 but I'm way too afraid of them not working either.

in the amount of time it took me to write this I went from 96% to 81%.

I had to buy two over the life of my ibook. That was the most annoying thing about that laptop.

What size is your iBook? What's the part number on your old battery?

it's a 15" and the battery says Model A1080, if that's the number you're looking for.

hey, that would be awesome. It's getting more and more impossible to charge my computer's battery. I feel like a complete dork when I hold it in place just right so that it charges. middle prong, be damned!
