Why does nationality and religion blind people?

Between last night and today I have gotten more crazy than I am used to. The first batch was hearing "I don't think that Yassir Arafat was a terrorist." This was from an American-born Armenian, who claimed "My people were on that land before the Jews, and the Jews should leave

arafat was about as much a terrorist / homicidal maniac / guilty of war crimes as ariel sharon.

they don't hate america. they hate what certain american leaders in certain american regimes have done. they're pissed off that we occupy corces in the holy lands. period.

;) and just remember, not only does america support terrorists and train them (drug war, school of the americas, ariel sharon, taliban,).. as often as is convienient. america was also founded by terrorists. chew on that.

oh, and we historically try and impact "democracy" on other countries, while our own people are being denied rights (hmmm blacks fought in civil war, women suffragettes got arrested for quoting wilso's quotes about democracy outside the white house during wwi, we try and push democracy on iraq and asghanistan but try and strip our gays, bis, glbt of it etc)

Islamic people, at least the radicals that interpret the Qu'ran as an instruction manual for terrorist acts, are nothing short of devil worshipers. They have what they call g*d which is in fact the devil. So they mask the devil with the title G*d.

Furthermore, the larger Muslim community should be ashamed of itself for allowing such ridiculousness. Most Christians acknowledge that the crazy televangelist that said, "New York was asking for the 9/11 attacks", is just crazy and the news was all over it denouncing it.

This first generation armenian is an ignorant piece of trash: Muslims, at least real Muslims read and respect the Hebrew texts which call Israel "the promised land".
