Sanzo and sex: a little OOC for your enjoyment.
I think it's important to point out that I never meant for Sanzo to fool around with anyone. Ever.
I'm not kidding.
The root beer was for Omi, and I just had Sanzo drink it for a laugh, and because I figured it'd be the only way I could ever get Sanzo to sex up anyone, ever. And of course, it had to be Cal, because Sanzo was kind of starting to like him, and....
Well. So. It was Cal, anyway.
And that was going to be it. Sanzo's little 'rootbeer-fueled aberration' line was absolutely meant.
And then Goku flipped out, which was irritating, but then Goku demanded an explanation. Which pretty much doomed Sanzo. He'd been planning on pretending that it was all the root beer, and that it had really, on some level, never actually happened. But Goku forced him to talk about it, and to admit to himself at least that, yes, it happened, and no, he didn't have to pick Cal, but he did, and...yeah, he liked it.
And that's where he's at now. He liked it. And while he lives on denial, he's not stupid, and he rarely drops a vice once he's started, so...Cal.
I don't think he has a lot of sexual experience; I'm not entirely sure he's had any (shut up, he won't tell me). What he does have is a long history of people trying to get into his pants. He doesn't think of himself as sexy, despite the many, many people trying to get into his pants in canon; he thinks people look at his pretty face and see weakness and vulnerability.
He's got some real issues with sex, and because of camp rules and my solid policy of fading to black, they probably won't get directly addressed in-game. But no one should expect any tender kisses from Sanzo, pretty much ever. He's still got to figure out that sex and affection go together and that'll probably take him a while-- he's still compartmentalizing how he feels for Cal from what he gets from Cal, though that's starting to change a little.
I realize this whole storyline is the closest I'll get to pulling him OOC (at least I hope), but I hope I've kept him pretty consistent and pretty Sanzo.
