Another thought.... if Ruby is under the weather and stressed in hospital, she might benefit from having you there with her to gee her along and cheer her up (unless she's being strictly monitored for eating & pooing).
Also, when she returns home, you might want to go with your mums so that you both return carrying the same smells.
No, mums couldn't find where the blood came from. We faught maybe it was a pulled nail or claw that she then cleaned so it stopped bleeding but the vet -lady arso couldn't find any wound anywhere. She had no tempature and her teef was all fine too. Mummy gave her loads of tummy rubs this morning and she didn't feel bloated or hard at all - so whooooo knows!
We are glad that we didn't give the stay-sis stuff if you say we made the righted decision.
I will tell mummy that I want to go and pick her up from the vets when she is betta. and if we phone this afternoon and she needs to stay in - maybe I could go and see her.
They seem to think it might be teeth spurs but are waiting until they can check properly tomorrow under GA. She seems to be doing better this evening and has eaten some dandelion and hay so the nurses are able to reduce the amount they syringe feed. The nurse has said twice that Ruby has 'personality' - we think this mean she is being her usual stroppy self!!

Could you see where the blood came from? You were right not to start stasis treatment if there is any risk of a blockage.
We hope she'll be OK. Please keep us posted......

Snuggles and nose rubs to you and your mums too.
It sounds like Ruby is being well looked after, but we have ears crossed for her too.
