How can you use a bunch of brains in tanks?

Ah, it's simple really. The brain can be removed from a human body with little effort, but I can't reveal that technique to you. As for the tanks, they're specially designed to contain and run solely based on the brain's workings.

Unlike humans, the 'brain tank' can run constantly without rest, are equipped with a heavy armory, and can take psychic orders from a distance. It's one of my finest inventions to date.

Doesn't sound very useful. It's not like there's much to take over here.

I'm not overly concerned with money, if that's what you mean. I want knowledge, intelligence, and for everyone here to respect me as the smartest scientist to ever live.

... how's anyone going to do that if they don't have brains?

Well, not everyone has the potential to be part of a great plan. Some brains just don't work out, compatibility wise, so those average humans will just have to be overlooked.

That seems kind of stupid.

...

Try comparing it to the strange seven foot monster someone else created today. You'll see that it's a better idea than that scientist's horrible creation.

Just because you made something smarter than something dumb doesn't mean it's brilliant.

You don't understand brilliance when you see it then. Which is perfectly understandable, considering the low intelligence level of the City.

What good is brilliance if no one actually needs it?

Are you claiming it to be something useless? How does one know if they really need it or not then?

You haven't made it sound too useful.

You have a strong point. However, it's only a given amount of time before I invent something that even you will be impressed with.

Like what?

Hmm...

What is something you desire? If it possible to be made, then I can do it easily. Science is limitless, after all.
