Cosmos is on DVD. I know what I'll be searching all over the Puget Sound area for today. It's also like $120 but I totally don't care - I am so putting it on my credit card because ZOMG COSMOS WANT TO WATCH IT TONIGHT AFTER I GET BACK FROM WORKING.

The original version with decent-for-the-70s effects, or the cheezy remastered version which put Carl Sagan on the bridge of a space station?

Oh wait, duh, he was on a space station in the original, and it was the 2000s remastered version which just replaced all that with extra CG.

I don't know which version it is (probably the newer one) but I totally don't care...I WANT COSMOSEZ!

Well yeah, either way it's awesome. I just hope it's the old version. I feel that the new version's effects kind of take away from what Sagan's saying since they're all overproduced and look extra-"cool."

Sagan was da' bomb! Loved that series. Too bad he died - he could've contributed so much more.
