The writing and special effects were also great (actually, the writing was flawless), but let's face it: They really did the movie correctly, because both guys who love comic-book movies and their wives who don't love comic-book movies can really, really, really enjoy this film. A whole lot. A bunch. A ton.

I have no idea, but it works. Very well. Especially when they blow shit up.

It's a goddamned great movie - except RDJ looks exactly like my dad right down to the strange facial hair, so that is actually very creepy and I can't think about it too much.
