I today acquired the Killers' new album, Day and Age, and am on my first spin through it. So far, I enjoy it, but I am not struck-though I felt initially that way about Sam's Town only to become enamored of it. Also like Sam's Town before it, this album represents an entirely different musical direction, but I am at a loss of how to describe it, ( Read more... )

;) LaTeX is.... what it is.

I can't write in it. So, I use LyX which converts into LaTeX.

It's difficult for me to write in LaTeX, too, which is why I'm drafting my paper in Word, which is itself a pain and a half. (I might have drafted in LaTeX to hone my chops, but Dr. Pagán wanted a draft in Word. Sigh.)

I'm not sure what you're using it for, but LyX is much more user friendly. You might want to try it out.

After further practice, it seems that the only problems I have are more with BibTeX than LaTeX itself. I simply cannot get the References section to mesh into proper Chicago style.
