IT'S SO GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN! 8D

I'm glad you had a good time traveling, though I'm sorry it was kind of a nerving experience to travel alone. Personally, I wouldn't want to do that ever, so you're braver than I am!

So far, my holiday has been going alright. I've gotten sick and have to work, but hey, my mom is back from the hospital and recovering, and I have my birthday off! My brother is also visiting from the Naval Base, and I haven't seen him since March. :)

I have questioned myself several times, if I am capable to go alone, make sure that everything's okay and come home safely. This time I sneaked and didn't tell my parents that I'm travelling alone. It was a reckless thing to do, to be honest.

What and where do you work? Glad to hear that your mom is getting well. What sickness has gotten to her? Hmmm does your brother work on the Base?

And Merry Christmas for you!

Well, it might be a little reckless, but I am sure that you had a good time despite it. :)

As for all of that, I work at Target, a retail store, and it wasn't that bad... never mind. It was today (12/24).

My mom had an inflamed pancreas that was caused by her gallbladder, which a hospital removed. However, somehow, they twisted her stomach in the operation which led to months of hospitalization and lots of pain. So, we took her to a different hospital where they fixed her up. We're never going to the first hospital again, if not for their malpractice that we can't prove, but also for their insane billing system that is causing us tons of stress and bill collector calls. :|

As for my brother, he's in the Navy in fire control, so he works with the missiles and other defense programs and such. Or in other words, as his friends are in the Marines, he's the one who makes sure it's safe to go some place dangerous before they go in and finish the job.

Merry Christmas! ♥

They scolded me when they figured it out. But I can prove them that I could take care it by my self.

Ohh I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your mom gets a much better treatment than before. Sometime it's hard to claim malpractice because we don't really know about medical treatment and there's also chance of recovery after operations; which don't always lead to success :(

Woah that's cool. I've never seen military sites and how the people work there, just in films but it doesn't tell us much. Has he already home for Christmas and New Year?
