My first LJ poll!

Jan 11, 2010 08:28

So I've been thinking about creating a separate journal for website updates, now that I've actually started working on them again (go post-graduation life!).

Hence, a poll!

Poll

By the by... I hate Mondays. Who's with me on this!?

I was mostly thinking that maybe if the f-list didn't care, then it might make more sense promotionally to have a separate journal where people who would want to read updates could go? Also, I wanted to try out LJ polls, since I'm forking over my hard-earned cash! XD But the way things are going I think I'll just keep things as they are. *LAZY*

You are listening to DTP, that gives you 2 million awesomesauce points to add to all the billions of those you have.
You can blame my brother for that, as usual! The crazy boy wants to save up the money to work with DT, because apparently he does that? Agrees to work with small bands that are starting up (for a fee).

More updates journals, I say! I like having a place to talk about websites as much as I like, w/o annoying the regular readers. It's somewhat liberating anyway.

Seconding this. It also makes browsing updates easier. You don't have to sift through personal entries.

Now I'm tempted just to link to this in my profile! XD

Cool. I don't mind them mixed myself cause your updates and personal entries all pop up on my friends page, but someone from your collective who is afraid to friend you might be confused, so that'd be a good idea, especially if you start updating more.

I've considered combining my updates journal, rushcoil, with my personal LJ but I know a lot of people are intimidated to friend people, and watching a community just for updates is a lot easier for them. I also like to keep my friend list and updates watchers separated. Someone may be interested in my sites, but not in me, and I may not have much in common with them, etc...
