tsunamis in east asia make me think about how cool plate tectonics are, and the physics of big waves rising up many feet rapidly as they go up a coastal shelf.

yeah its too bad all those people died... makes me feel guilty about thinking how cool the video footage of the tsunamis coming in looks. They need a better warning system... that way everybody could just sit back with some microwave popcorn and watch as they roll in.

its too bad its almost impossible to see them, because the waves aren't prominent at all in the deep ocean.

i'm more interested in the natural intuition of animals. they said that barely any of them died because they could all sense it was coming.
