I'm going to be cleaning up my FL in the next few days, as I get the opportunity, and wanted to give a proper heads up.

ETA - I'm cutting those who haven't posted on LJ in ages (more than a couple of months) with no explanation. I just don't want someone who's been gone forevah to suddenly come back and wonder what's going on.

I just didn't want anyone's feelings hurt if all of a sudden, after a loooooong absence from LJ, they came back.

I'm not that much of a poster (big reader and poster though), but I think about doing this sometimes too. I'm sure there are people on my FL who have never posted in my journal. I kind of like knowing everyone on my FL and these days there are several people who I don't know at all.

I do the same thing a lot. I love reading others' journals, but often don't take the time to post in my own. I need to do better about that.
