Yes, my mom only reads them in Chinese-- it's interesting how they translated the names, because they tried to keep them the same but put them in pinyin (tonal system of writing.)

Do you know if they try to keep the name meanings the same when they translate them? (like Severus's name implies severe, etc.) I would not want to be the person stuck with that job; that would suck.

Rowling has this awful habit of introducing these random artifacts that serve a purpose only for one book before losing their value... The best example of this is probably the Elder Wand (consider how cleanly it ended the novel!)

Any other complaints? I wish she had given more screentime to Ginny, Neville, and Luna (and the other classmates also; I liked them!). I mean, I guess it had to feature solely on the tro, but even so...
I still thought it was the best book of the series.
