The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin--great mystery. another book written for kids/pre-teens but is awesome for any time. good exploration of identity. love it.

I believe I've read a book of hers (another children's book) called "The Mysterious Disappearance of Leon (I Mean Noel)", which was very strange, but I enjoyed it a lot. I've heard of The Westing Game... considering I don't seem to have too much free time lately, a pre-teen book might be a good idea to pick up :)
