Contacts question..

So I know some of you on my flist wear contacts. You may not have a clue but anyways, i'm trying new contacts - accuvue advance toric's. I opened my trial package today and the contacts are HUGE not thick but just in size. Is that weird? I'm wearing them, have been for an hour now and they're ok, not painful or anything

When I switched from the contacts I wore for the first 5 years or so, they looked gigantic to me too. How big are we talking though? I think mine are bigger than my iris (they cover the coloured part). I'm pretty sure it's normal!

Different contacts come in different sizes. My original contacts were very small, and only covered my irises. But then I tried the night and day ones, and they were ginormous, and were bigger than my irises. I couldn't wear them because they kept on irritating my eyelids (I was not used to the size at all). When you go back, they'll probably want to look at the contact on your eye to see how it moves. At that point, if you've had any problems or if they think they're too large, then they'll probably get you a different size or something.
