you're cute. I'm sorry. A bit traumatic, 'specially the worst of the before pics :-P
I had to go look it up because on The L Word one of the characters writes a column for the paper or something and she had to do a piece on vaginal rejuvenation. . . . . and well, when I heard that I had no idea what it was. . . .
Hey, we have a question about our cat Sally. We're pretty sure that she has ringworm on her back between her shoulder blades. It showed up a week or two after we took her to get groomed and she hasn't been outside or around others with it, so we think she got it from them.
Anyway, we're treating her with Malaseb spray. We spray it on and leave her be and she starts licking it and drooling all over. The stuff could be on there for hours and she would still be drooling from it. We put a little shield collar thing on her so that she won't lick the stuff anymore but she's having problems with it. It gets in the way when she goes to walk or jump on and off things.
My question is, is this spray toxic to cats? Can we let her go without the shield thing, even if she continues to lick it?
Well, the question is: are you sure it's ringworm?
Unfortunately, I'm not overly familiar with Malaseb. While I don't believe it's toxic, it definitely sounds like it's making her nauseous at the very least. I would keep the e-collar on, even if it does get in her way.
