I'm sorry I missed your barfday yesterday. There's a lot of that "When does it get easier"-type exhaustion going 'round. I just keep thinking that if I snuff it, I'll miss something. By all rights, people like you and me should be dead, so there's gotta be some reason why we aren't, right? Even if it's just for some huge karmic joke, I've still got to stick around to see what the surprise is.

Hey, I read Stephen King's Dreamcatcher all the way through, expecting it to get better. I can handle life.
