Summary: It’s a little known, little tested theory that, in the absence of a soul, a new one can be created through sex. Unfortunately for Dean Winchester, his ill-advised affair with his soulless brother will, in fact, prove this theory correct.
Sam’s back from the dead, and nothing is the same. When Dean can’t take it anymore, he goes to great lengths to get Sam’s soul restored. Sam wakes up with no memory of what his body has been doing for the last year and a half, and Dean thinks maybe he’ll get away with ever having to tell Sam the truth…until they learn that there’s another soul growing inside Sam, and it’s at the center of a battle between heaven and hell.
