The biggest problem with Atlanta real estate is weighing quality vs. price. A complete shithole can be extremely pricey simply because it's close to Midtown, for example. Not so horrible houses usually come with some other problem -- no yard, bad neighborhood creeping in, out in the f-ing boonies, what have you. Want a yard? Expect to live in a home that's at least 10 or more years old. Bah.
