so sad we just had him as the author of the month last month. but i also discovered something scary with him... did you know they did a series of like the big question and other g-d type books... they were labeled *new* on the covers... i was tramatized.
Well, if they were new (or within the last, I dunno, 20 years even), they could've been his sons' work. They've been writing collectively as "The Berenstains" for a while now, so it would make sense to me that the sons would want to do their own thing other than the Berenstain Bears.
This is very true. There's also, as far as I can tell, the fact that he seems to have had a happy life doing what he wanted to do. That in itself is a wonderful enough goal to achieve; to be done for 40+ years is a blessing.
