The garbage truck goes past about 3 million times on trash day.

That is about 2.9 million times too many.

They actually picked up trash that fell out of the can. I was surprised.

I have no life.

I want the city of Erie to invest in some WD-40 for the garbage truck's squeaky brakes. I don't need to know when you come pick up my garbage, and the fact that you send 3 different trucks for different items at different times at night...makes it much more appealing. 11pm, 2:30am, and 5:30am are lovely times to be woken up.

Ok, at least ours comes during the day. Where we used to live it was early in the morning, but here it is about noon. But the route they use involves going up and down our street several times...pulling into the alley several times to turn around...backing up the street at high rates of speed. I don't like garbage trucks backing up near my vehicle.

We have firetrucks, and the police, and ambulances run up and down our road, with an occassional run-away dumpster.

Heh, run away dumpsters.

We don't have much of that...not a through street. It doesn't connect to the main road directly so, not too bad. We did however have an accident involving a car flipping over sometime earlier in the year. Because the intersection is "unregulated" so...I guess neither car decided to slow down and look.

Our street isn't really a through street . . . I mean, it can be, but it has less traffic on it, hence the emergency vehicles at 2am driving on it.
