I'm looking to buy a new laptop.  I don't want to spend over $1000 but I want something good.  I need one that has at least 2GB of RAM, 250 GB of memory and I want at least 5 hours of battery life.  If anyone has any suggestions, other than a Mac (because I can't afford one and really don't want one), let me know.

I love how many of you are more interested in our politics than many Americans are.  I voted two weeks ago, so all that is really left is for me to watch the results roll in.

Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot of blue states tomorrow night.
