It's five in the morning here so I can't scream and sob grossly over how much I love this verse. So I'm doing it mentally. Loudly. So loudly, in fact, that Charles must hear me from wherever he and Erik are boinking.

The world building, the imagery, the style of writing, It all adds up to equal something beautiful and unique.
