Erik wins yet another battle with Charles in their psychological chess! It's lovely to see Charles' relaxing his control over himself at last. And Erik, too, is changing, caring for another person instead of thinking purely of his own ends. These feelings are new to both of them, I think, and it's delightfully awkward and sweet. It's like you said -- they know they're in a difficult situation, but they keep trying to make the best of it.

Thank you! Yes, that's precisely it. I mean, they're not going to just shrug these issues off, so they necessairly have to learn to shoulder them.

I think wiriting the psychological chess in this story is one of the things that amuse me the most.

Ah this chapter was lovely, I like how they seem to be fitting better together- the last chapter they were all up in each others head space but the pieces weren't fitting quite right. I guess cause everything was new and Erik was understandably freaked and here I like how his opening concern is that he needs to get off RIGHT NOW, because that's just how it is ha. (Sorry, I'm trying to review two chapters at once as I just read them back to back, but it's muddling my wee head

Thank you <3 yeah, they're learning to be inside each other's heads. Not even Charles is completely sure how this should work out exactly, so it should be a pretty steep learning curve.

And yeah, morning boners, the absolute necessity to get off immediately, and you know, Erik's been behaving admirably so who can blame him?

Oh, I know what you mean about your nieces being born too early. I was born too early myself and my mom didn;lt get to pick me up until like a month after I was born--so I know from her what it feels like to be deprived of that.

It's incredible to watch (read, shh, I know, shh), the amount of thought you've put into how everything works is amazing. I'm sure I wouldn't have the patience.

Erik is being EXTREMELY well behaved (Well... he was.) and deserves a gold star.

Yeah, it's a strange one- I don't particularly care for kids but these were pups from my pack, you know? And it makes you go NEED THEM TO BE GETTING CUDDLES RIGHT NOW. I can't imagine it from an actual parents point of view D:

Yeah, I tottaly forgot that Raven explained Erik everything. Anyway, this chapter: as always good! Charles's confusion on his body reactions is both cute and horrible. Cute because of obvious reasons, horrible- because no one should live thorugh things that makes sexual arosual something unsual and confusing. I'm so glad that he finally gave up fighting it, quite literally considering his behaviour, the whole "holding back". Luckily, Erik is a sexy beast, no one can win with him. Seriously, I love the way you write Erik wholeheartedly and "goddamn octopus" made me chuckle. And they are so domestic, heartwarmingly domestic. I can't wait to see how "kids" will react to this new situation. Charles and Erik won't be able to hide it form them, even if they try really hard.
Of course anngst is coming! And I like it, I'm really angst-admirer kind of person, so I'm looking forward to see what obstacles are waiting for my beloved characters.

Haha I don't know if sexy beast, but definetely very sexually inclined and very single-minded. LOL I know what it's like to have a clingy bed-partner! Most of the nights it's cute but omg, I swear it's like he has eight limbs instead of four, and he sleeps like the dead, damn him!

You know, I hadn't yet thought about how the kids would react to their current situation, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.
