Have I ever mentioned how I love everything you write? There are a lot of Atonement/X-Men stories out there, and you just blew all of them away. Like, no one should make the attempt again. And more importantly you made it work for the characters themselves. Especially Erik, in that situation. This was beautiful and I just adored it.

Thank God it had a better ending than Atonement, and I agree with Charles here so much - let the world sort out itself. In so many other lives/stories/AUs they're caught up right in the middle of everything that's wrong in this world and it so often takes them away from each other so... yeah. They deserve this. ♥

Thank you <3 That's precisely what I felt when I was writing it. I thought, 'they should go out there and fight... and then I thought I'd put Erik through so much already, I didn't have the heart to throw him into war, on top of everything.

wonderful story.

I particularly liked this line for some reason: Sebastian Shaw dies with a pipe shoved through his right eye. Erik doesn’t even do it with his mind, he grabs hold of the pipe and plunges it in. *fist pump...yeah!*
