That'd be fantastic! I'll remember not to use my wand on it, too. Who knows; between you and Polina, I may actually learn how to feed myself for next year when I'm living on my own!
What to say on the subject of list-making? I say there should be more of them! Perhaps we should make one in response to Karin's, Monty!
As for your cookies... take heart! It could be much worse! My eldest sister once caused a small fire in the kitchen which charred the wallpaper while trying to boil water to make tea. All without magic. Until you have reached that level of sheer talent, I think you're all right!
Oh no! Oh well, you can try again later. My philosophy (not nearly as intellectual as Barthes) is never try to use magic around muggle things that might explode, which is why I have always stuck to making biscuits the normal way at my step-mum's. The good thing is that at least you can try again later, and you've learned an important lesson about patience while cooking. What kind of biscuits were they supposed to be?
As for lists, unless someone decides to make a list of nice things about everybody, I think it probably ought to be left alone.
I expect you're philosophy is a lot more useful, though, since you can cook, I presume, and I apparently can't. Still, it was an interesting experiment! They were supposed to be chocolate chip. (The batter was delicious, even if I didn't get to try the biscuits themselves.)
Probably. Maybe that should be what I do next time I'm bored, instead of trying to bake!
Cooking's a lot like potions, only things tend to explode less and your ingredients don't have to be harvested during the correct phase of the moon. Maybe I can help you out some time, if you find your way down from the ivory tower into the kitchens. You could come over, actually, although it might be a bit of a pain.
I was actually trying to make a list like that earlier today, but I don't think I'll put it up--I'm ashamed to say there were a few people for whom the best I could say was "Such interesting handwriting!"
I think I was too harsh with Jasper and Edward's whinging about me putting him eighth makes me want to give him a lower score, but other than that I still stand by what I wrote. Alright, so maybe I would have kept it to the Gryffindor girls if we hadn't been drinking.

Hmm. I may have! I think I remember adding something white, but there's still a definite possibility that they're lacking in flour.

Would you like me to owl you a copy of one of my recipes? I can add really specific instructions for people who aren't as used to baking.

Also, those cookies look like they'd hurt if you threw them at some one.

Maybe I should keep them for next time my sister acts up. Toss one at her head and she'd be out for the night!

That's a good idea. Maybe I will steal one to throw at Izzy.

It could indeed have been a lot worse! The oven still works properly and everything.
