"No one's home," he shouted. If it was James, he could let himself in. If it was Sophie, she could go away. If it was someone on staff, they could knock again or go away or something. He didn't even care.

The likelihood of Greg opening the door for her while knowing it was her was slim, and she was absolutely suffering morbid curiosity when it came to why they were here .. and more than likely here together.
