I did summers most of the time I was in college...and at SPU summer quarter was 1/3 the cost of other quarters. Just a thought :)

Apparently I have to have "permission" to take summer classes - which shouldn't be that hard to get (just annoying). But it's not "cheaper" per se. Online classes are $185.+ per credit...but I might be able to take a light load in the summer just to "keep up". I'm leaning more and more toward that. I feel sort of "slacking" to only take 12 credits this spring, but I'd really like to do well - and I know math kicks my butt. I average 3 hours of homework a night in math - and the next class is supposed to be the same or slightly worse.

Thanks for the comment and the idea. I appreciate hearing what others experienced.

I've been here! For me the balancing act got to be too much. My patience with my "angel" got thin and as well as with her brother and sister. I had to cut back but still needed that "time" to work on me. A stressed mom is just no fun but neither is one who feels unaccomplished. Don't know if you'd call this advice but wanted you to know we have all been there. take care.
