interesting

I just found Settler's of Catan online. I could download it, or play it online... interesting. Of course, that's dependent on actually finding the time to play it and not shirk schoolwork.

Has anyone one else tried this? The game I mean, not the shirking...

oh...the danger....

yeah, this is pretty cool. someone told me there's a downloadable free version on the internet that's great too - though the only ones I found, you have to get other people to play with you, it's not against computer generated opponents... which is cool too...

anyway, must stop shirking my duty and go get the volunteers organized for the show... *hugs* - miss you, elli!

I miss you guys too...

There is a downloadable version at the Oberon game site - that's the link I provided, but I don't think it's freeware. I think it's just a trial version, so there might be a time limit on it. But the graphics were pretty cool, and definitely worth looking at!

OMG! Online? Where did you find it? I played the board game once and loved it. I'd like to try it online.

Apparently you can also play it online at yahoo games, but I haven't checked that one out yet. Supposedly the graphics aren't quite as good.

Hope that helps. I haven't played since I left Seattle, so I'm definitely looking forward to it. It won't be quite the same as a group of friends playing, but it has to help!
