I see what you're saying, but don't worry too much. This is about as dark as Katisha is going to get. I think you'll find her less... Oriental trope as we continue. Although, maybe not in the next chapter

Really clever, and I liked how the last illusion was not real. I also really liked how links between a person's thoughts and their culture's architecture influenced how they practiced occlumency - eg westerners use barricades in the mind,easterners used tricks of light and shadow.

The characterisation was spot on, and I liked how Snape was brave enough not to drink the forgetfulness potion.
