I just got this e-mail from the registrar:

"Dear Angela,

"While reviewing your courses, we noticed that you took STS 001 JT with a grading type of Pass/Fail. That means STS 001 JT cannot count as your IE course for graduation. If you're looking for an IE to take that won't be too much of a hassle, I would highly recommend IE197 (math/science education). I took that spring of my junior yr w/ Yong (Thom teaches it sometimes, too), and it was absolutely the easiest class I ever took @ Mudd. I convinced Greg (Borish) to take it last yr, and he felt the same way. It'll complement a bunch of busy physics courses quite well :-)
