i just want to begin by addressing this: I seem to be the only one shipping Hongbin and Leo?? i have finally found someone who ships them as well as writes them. i am so happy right now. i adore this pairing and now that i have found you.../sobs.

but no, when i watched this episode of vixxTV i was unbelievably ecstatic because (1) hongbin talked. yes. let the boy talk. (2) leo talked. yes. good. (3) they just work so well together. and i think, as you so eloquently wrote here, this song worked so well for hongbin, because indeed i feel as if he's pushed off to the side far too often for just being "pretty" or "handsome". yes, he definitely it those things but i am far more intrigued by the hard-working dork inside who has a ridiculous, shy laugh he covers with his hands, the dedicated artist who gives his all in what he does. /ends rant here. BUT YOU SEE IT TOO, DON'T YOU LEO.

all in all, yes to this fic. yes to this pairing. and yes to the gorgeous verbal jint mv.

This was truly gorgeous. The metaphors you used ("He's not the flower you cut and keep in a vase until it withers; he's a garden you water and sing to and marvel at every single day") were so striking and memorable. I can imagine Taekwoon perfectly in this; his blank faces and running thoughts, and all of Hongbin's beautiful smiles seen through his quiet eyes.

I remember this episode of vixxTV really well and I really like how you had this from Leo's point of view because I personally don't get to see too many stories from his mind. I enjoyed this a lot. And I really liked the artwork commentary because just the other day I was telling my friend that Hongbin is just so much more than a pretty face and I get upset that he doesn't get enough recognition for it.. AND OF COURSE LEO SEES IT SOB
