Took care of the apartment, I have my car, and I got my microdermal done by Wendi at Lucky Monkey in Ann Arbor. Whew. It was a seriously exhausting day. I've never been so viscerally exhausted, I don't think. My finger is swollen and it's wrapped in Tegaderm to help with healing given my job involves washing my hands a thousand times a day and

Does it go through the finger? I've got a friend who had barbells in her fingers where you have that done (going through the flesh on top of the finger, obviously), but had to retire them because she was constantly bumping them or catching them on things.

Nope, it's just a single point piercing (insofar as there is no exit point, just a single hole.)

:) There's a base under my skin. Check this out, it'll give you a better idea. The base in the picture on that link isn't quite the same, because mine has one small foot sticking out on one side and a longer one on the other side, so it looks kind of like
